An earthquake measuring 7.2 magnitude struck the region Mentawai, West Sumatra. Meteorological and Geophysical Agency commemorate this magnitude quake was strong enough potential to cause tsunami waves.Based on information from the site BMKG, this earthquake occurred at around 21:40 pm. The location is in 78 km Southwest of Mentawai, West Sumatra.
